Let’s Transition Some Summer Dresses to Fall/Winter

Forever dreaming  I’m in a winter wonderland ❄️❄️❄️

I love wearing dresses.  They are what make me feel the most comfortable and confident right now.  I thought that I would share how I style someone my favorite dresses from the warmer summer months and make them a little warmer and cozier for the fall and winter months.  Please keep in mind that I am a California girl, so the weather here gets cold for ME, but probably not THAT cold compared to other places in the world. 

Summer to Fall/Winter Dress Look 1

Take your fav dress and pair it with a cardigan. Throw on a sassy classic hat and some sneakers. You are ready to go!

Summer to Fall/Winter Dress Look 2

Take that same dress but now we are putting a sweater over it. You still see the beautiful dress on the bottom, which now looks like a skirt but you are all snuggly warm in an oversized sweater or sweatshirt. Again pair it with a classic pair of sneakers and you are good to go!

Wearing little booties or boots would be a cute way to style these looks up for the colder months but with my lipedema in my legs, sneakers work best for me. 

Take what you’ve got and make it work for you! That goes for fashion and for well…life too! 

Tips for added warmth

1. layering with shirts and turtlenecks under the dress 
2. add leggings or sweatpants under dresses 
3. snow hat or a beanie and pair it with mittens/gloves and a scarf
4. add a warm heavy-duty winter coat and spend as much time indoors lol
