My Thoughts on Fashion, Food, Fitness and my weight loss and skin removal Journey

My First Boutique Shop Purchase

Shopping, fashion, and beauty have always been something that I have loved.  Going to the mall, looking through the racks and racks of clothes was always one of my favorite things to do.  Being overweight all of my life it was very difficult to find items that I loved or fit and expressed “my style.”  I was often forced to shop online.  That satisfaction of going to the mall and looking through the racks of clothes, was something that I rarely got to enjoy.  Even now after loosing all of this weight, I still struggle with seeing myself as the actual size that I am.  I still feel like the girl who is walking around the mall desperately hoping to squeeze into the largest size that stores offer. Right before my second surgery I remember Kevin and I going to the mall to finish up our Christmas shopping and seeing a “pop up” boutique called “Shop Lombard and Fifth.”  The clothes in the window were super cute and I fell in love.  However, I didn’t walk in or even mention to Kevin that I wanted to look because I still felt that nothing in

Fast and Easy Fajita Chicken and Vegetables Recipe

Kevin and I recently tried this recipe and we love it!  I wanted to share it with you guys too.  This recipe is not only delicious but it is super simple and easy to put together and was ready in no time.  This meal is delicious on its own or it can be served with brown rice, cauliflower rice or wrapped in a tortilla or lettuce cups.  We didn’t use any olive oil but we did sprinkle a little extra taco seasoning over our vegetables.  We will definitely be making this over and over again when we have any Mexican food cravings (which is a lot).  I hope that you love this recipe as much as we do!Fast and Easy Fajita Chicken and Vegetables Recipe Adapted from Chicken Burrito Bowls Prep Time: Less than 10 Minutes Cook Time: 25 Minutes Total Time: Less than 35 Minutes   INGREDIENTS  3 to 4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts depending on size 3 Bell Peppers 1 Onion Olive Oil (optional) 1 Tbsp (+extra) Taco Seasoning Salt and Pepper 1 Jar Salsa   INSTRUCTIONS 1. Hot Pink Cold Shoulder Shirt

I found the cutest pink cold shoulder top today on an outing at Nordstrom!  Its not only super cute…it also goes up to a 3x.  I love when designers come out with the same products in plus sizes too.  I know how it feels to find something that you love but won’t fit because they don’t offer it in plus size.  This hot pink color is super cute and great for Valentine’s day or to just brighten up a winter day.  It can even be worn into the spring and summer.  I loved this shirt right when I saw it and just knew I had to share it with you! Real Good Pizza

Guys, I have something amazing to share with you!  If you are anything like me, you love pizza.  Unfortunately, pizza is not the most calorie friendly food.  Pizza is something that I treat myself to every once and a while…and there are usually long whiles in between my pizzas.  A few months ago I came across Real Good Pizza Co.  To be honest, the first thing that caught my eye was their little slogan or quote on the back of their box “Pizza is Life, they told us it wasn’t possible, they said it wouldn’t taste good, they were wrong.”  I mean can this really not be more perfect?  Of course I had to give them a try…and it is AMAZING!!!!!  The fact that it has 25 g of protein and only 4 g of carbs and that the crust is made of chicken breast and parmesan…how crazy is that?If you order from them directly the pizzas arrive frozen and ready for you to pop into your oven whenever you are having a pizza craving.  There are currently 3 different flavors.  3 cheese, Pepperoni and Supreme.  They are all so good but
