My Favorite Stores and Items for Black Friday 2017

  I don’t know about you but I love shopping!!!  But it is a very dangerous hobby to have especially when I was on my weight loss journey and I felt like I needed new clothes (and shoes) every few months because nothing fit anymore.   When I was losing weight, I rewarded myself along the way. When I hit a certain goal, or was able to complete a whole workout, or even if I just didn’t talk negatively about myself for a week.  My treats were always non food related…always! I had such an unhealthy relationship with food, which is a huge reason why I was over 5oo pounds to begin with, and I was not only on a journey to lose weight and love myself again, but change the relationship I had with food.    I would treat myself to a manicure, a new lipstick or a new shirt quite often.  Since I loved shopping, and I am not made of money, I loved sales and going to the outlets to find so many of my treats.  So when Black Friday came along, I used that as a way to not only buy gifts for my friends and family for Christmas, but

Casual Fall Outfit: Comfy Green Sweater and blue jeans

     It is almost Thanksgiving and the weather here in Northern California is finally starting to cool off and feel like fall!  The sun is still shining but it is..colder!! And I love it!  There is so much to do to get ready for Thanksgiving.  There are groceries to buy, pies to bake, and for me, still squeezing in some gym time!  I think this is the perfect cozy outfit that is still super cute, but really comfortable so you can check everything off of your to do list. Three “Healthier” Dessert Recipes For Thanksgiving 2017

  I don’t know about you, but when the holidays come around, it is very hard for me to stay on track and remember my fitness goals.  I do not have much of a sweet tooth, but there is just something about the holidays that all of my teeth become sweet teeth and I want all of the cookies, pies and cakes.  While I was on my weight loss journey, I never allowed myself to have Thanksgiving food, and I definitely did not allow myself to have dessert.  But as I continued on my journey, I found that I  was still able enjoy Thanksgiving without depriving myself of everything, at the same time not eating EVERYTHING to a point where I would make myself sick.  I am sharing with you guys 3 simple and delicious recipes that are perfect for when you are craving something sweet, as well as perfect for a Thanksgiving treat!!  I really hope you guys enjoy these recipes as much as I do and let me know which one is your favorite!  Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Baking!!   Recipe #1 Low Calorie Crustless Pumpkin Pie Recipe Courtesy of

Baked Pumpkin, Oatmeal, Chocolate Chip Muffins

I was so excited when I found this recipe that I knew I had to try it out!  I loved the ingredient list and how simple it looked to make.  I hate when I see a recipe that looks so good, but then I look at the ingredient list and it is filled with a bunch of different ingredients that I will specifically have to go out and buy and then will probably never use again.  So this one sounded good, was very simple and easy and so BOOM I decided to try it!  I am so glad I did!!  The are the perfect little breakfast to have with coffee, or a great afternoon snack.  I like how it had the added touch of some chocolate chips, but that is totally optional, though I highly recommend adding some!  Whether it be sugar free, dark chocalte or dairy free.  There are so many options and a little chocolate never hurt anyone!  I would definitely store these in an airtight container and keep them in the fridge.  I liked warming them up and eating them hot, but letting them come to room temperature to eating them right
