My Thoughts, Feeling and Opinions on Disney Halloween Treats from Disneyland 2019

With Halloween passing on Thursday, I thought I would share some of the fun and super cute Disney Halloween treats Kevin and I tried when we were in Disneyland a few weeks ago. If you want to read more about this new food series and how I will be ranking some Disney foods and what Disney treats and goodies I choose to try, click HERE and you can read more about this new blog series. But let’s just jump right on into the Disneyland Halloween Food, Drink and Treats we tasted and tried in Disneyland!!! These reviews and ratings are not listed in any particular order. This is not a paid or sponsored post, we bought and purchased all of the items with our own money and the thoughts and feelings are genuine and my own or the people that I traveled with. I know that since Halloween season is over, most if not all of these treats and food items are now gone from the parks. With that being said I do know that most seasonal food and drink items come back every year. If you find yourself in the parks next Halloween season look to see if these items

Disney Food, All in? or All out? Let’s Find a Happy Medium!

Disneyland. The Happiest Place on Earth! A Place that is Full of Magic, Smiles, Love and of Course Delicious Disney Food, Treats and Goodies! Along my weight loss journey, every time I went to Disneyland I completely restricted my food. I brought my own food and snacks into the park and did not have any treats or food that I did not bring with me. While I was so focused and dedicated to losing weight, this restrictive mindset did not help me years later when I realized I did have a binge eating disorder. A completely restrictive lifestyle was only fueling the disordered eating. I am really trying to find a balance. A middle ground. Being a huge Disney fan and visiting the park often, I knew I wanted to be able to find that middle ground with my food and when I was in Disneyland as well. I know I can go to Disneyland and bring all of my own foods and be completely fine. I also know that it is ok to go into the park and try the treats, foods, and goodies and not stress while I am there. Both

Tips and Tricks for Surviving Halloween Candy!

When people think of Halloween, typically they think of costumes, trick or treating, scary stories, classic Halloween movies and yes Halloween candy. But for me, when I think of Halloween the first thing that used to come to mind was STRESS. Lots and lots of stress. Basically surrounding candy.  Honestly, some of you may think I am totally crazy, but I am not a huge fan of Halloween. I do not like being scared, I did not like trick or treating, I am scared of the dark and I hated dressing up and drawing any sort of attention to myself. The one thing about Halloween I did like was the candy. On Halloween, I used to eat so much candy I would become sick. Later in life, I would literally binge out on so much candy on Halloween because “that is what you were supposed to do.” But as I got older, and my eating disorder had grown, things really got out of hand..especially on Halloween.  I remember I used to BINGE out. Eating so much candy I thought I was going to throw up…and then eat some more. It was like something took over my body and I physically could

7 Months Post Thigh Tuck Recovery and Frequently Asked Questions

I cannot believe it has been 7 months since I had an inner thigh tuck on my legs and 5 months since having a skin graft on my leg! Time sure does fly when you are having fun … or in pain whichever you want to call it haha I have been getting a lot of questions about how I am doing now, post-surgery and how things are feeling and healing. So I decided to do a little Q&A style blog post and answer the top questions I have been receiving! If I did not answer one of your questions, leave it down below in the comments and I will be sure to answer your question as well. So let’s get this Q&A going!!! How am I feeling now? Well, I feel great! The incisions/scars have loosened up so much and I have full range of motion in both legs now. The skin graft is healing as beautifully as a skin graft can heal and is fading nicely. There still is a little bit of tightness in the area where the skin graft is and if I do a lot of squats, ride the bike too fast, or do jumping/stepping motions. When I workout
