Stop Dreading Mondays, and Rock those RED Pants!

Monday is just another day to be killing it.  Rock those skinny jeans.  Throw on some lipsticksS.  Set your goals for the week and know that you are capable crushing them.  Monday should not be a day we dread.  Monday is just a day.  The first day of a new week.  A chance to start over. Start fresh.  Keep moving in the right direction.  We cannot change the past but we are in charge of the future.

A few years ago I set a goal for myself to lose over 300 pounds.  I knew it was going to take a lot of hard work and discipline.  I did not focus on how long it would take me, or dread going to the gym, or even hate eating the food I was eating.  I kept my big goal in mind, but would set small goals along the way.  Goals I could accomplish every week. For me, Mondays were just the start of a new week.  The start of another week where I would become closer and closer to my goals.  A chance for me to crush the smaller goals I had for myself that week.  Every Monday I set new goals – even if they were the same as every Monday before that.  Eat the food on your menu, workout 4 times a week, drink lots of water, be fearless and most importantly love yourself.  That was my goal every Monday.  So at the end of the week I felt accomplished.   I felt like I met my goals and I was ready to crush them all over again.  I kept my overall goal in the back of my mind at all times, but I did not focus on that.  I did not worry about losing 300 pounds that week.  I focused on what I had control over.  I focused on the day I was on and the task at hand.  When Sunday came, and I completed my goals, I felt proud of myself.  I would look in the mirror and say “you did it”.  That feeling is amazing!  It keeps you motivated to keep going!  Monday would be back again and I knew I could handle it.  I knew I could accomplish my goals that week.  I knew that each new Monday meant a fresh start.  A fresh new week for me to go out and conquer and win.  It made me feel empowered to have the best week I possibly could, and it made me feel confidant in myself that I could do it.  I have always loved the quote “She knew she could, so she did”.  Do not look at Mondays as a day to dread, instead use Monday as something positive.  Know that this week you are going to crush your small goals, be positive, be happy and love yourself!   You can do this.  So do it! Monday is just another day to be killing it!

Mondays are the perfect day to try something new.  I think every Monday should be started off by wearing something you feel bold, confidant and maybe a little sassy in.  When you feel confidant, chances are you are going to act more confidant.  These red pants are super cute (yet comfy) and this power red color is so bold and loud that it screams confidant.  When I wear them It makes me want to say “watch out world here I come.”  I love pairing the casual track pants with this simple black tank top and this super adorable blazer.  It is a touch of casual yet sophisticated all in one and I LOVE it.  When I wear what makes me feel beautiful I feel like I just portray that to others.  It makes me smile more.  It makes me feel happy.  It makes me know that no matter what this week throws at me, I know I can handle it.  I am a big believer that if you start off the week on a positive note, and know that you can get through anything, your week is just going to be so much better.  Blazers with track pants is a new trend I am trying out, but I am loving it! So today I hope you take chances, put on your sassy pants, set small goals that you can accomplish this week and learn to love Mondays!   So bring it on Monday, we are ready for you!

I am linking all of the items down below for you guys!   I also found similar plus size options as well so we can all rock this look together!  Let me know if you are ready to try this new trend and pair some cute track pants with a blazer!  I didn’t know if I would love it….but I literally cant stop wearing it!!!

Happy Monday loves!!!!
