This is a review for Enlightened Ice Cream Pints and Enlightened Crisps. I was sent these products from Enlightened however, I did not receive compensation for writing this review. This review is 100% my own opinion and I just wanted to share with you guys what I thought about these products.

Now with that out of the way, lets get down to the review!

Enlightened Ice Cream Pints –

About –

“Enlightened Ice Cream is al all natural ice cream that is low is calorie and high in protein, contains 5g fiber, 20% of the RDA for calcium, and is as low as 2g fat and 3g of sugar. Our ice cream is made from rBST free milk, is gluten free, and contains no artificial sweeteners or added sugars.”

“Enlightened contains no artificial sweetener (or anything else artificial for that matter!) We’ve chosen to use monk fruit extract and erythritol, zero calorie products of fruit, to give our ice cream its natural sweetness.”

My Opinion –

WOW!! This ice cream is amazing!! They are so creamy and definitely taste like real ice cream. They do not leave a bad after taste and I love how they have large amounts of caramel, chocolate, cookies etc throughout the entire pint! During my weightless journey I have always craved ice cream. This definitely does not disappoint. They are so creamy, sweet and decadent and definitely hit the spot when you are needing something sweet. This is a great healthier alternative to traditional ice cream and I definitely reccomend them!! I cannot wait to try the new flavors!

My favorites –

This was a tricky one but I would have to say that my 3 top favorite flavors so far are:

1. Caramel Oatmeal Cookie Crunch – “Oatmeal cookie clusters and ribbons of silky caramel blended with rich ice cream.”

2. Frozen hot chocolate – “Fluffy swirls of marshmallow and rich chocolate chips blended with chocolate ice cream.”

3. Chocolate chip cookie dough – “Chunks of soft chocolate chip cookie dough and rich chocolate chips blended with sweet cream ice cream.”

I am absolutely in love with Enlightened ice cream pints and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a healthier ice cream alternative! I have found these pints at my local Safeway and Whole Foods, however if you go to Enlightened store locater online here, you can see where these little pints of heaven are sold near you!

Enlightened Crisps- Roasted Broad Beans

My personal favorite type of snack food is anything crunchy and salty. I am definitely a chip and cracker girl. During my weight loss journey, it was hard to find snack foods that I loved, or that did not only allow me to have 5 chips. When I heard that Enlightened came out wth these crisps I knew that I had to try them!

“Enlightened crips are lightly salted in sunflower oil, sprinkled with sea salt, and seasoned to perfection.”

My Opinion –

These definitely did not disappoint! My personal favorite flavor was the mesquite BBQ. They have a great crunch and a sweet and tangy BBQ flavor which I love. I also love the Sriracha flavor! These snacks remind me more of corn nuts than chips, but that does not bother me. I love how these are little snack size bags, which is perfect so you can eat the whole bag without having to measure out a serving and are great to throw in your purse or keep in the car for an on the go snack. If you are more of a sweet person, don’t worry they have you covered too. They also have flavors like sweet cinnamon and cocoa dusted which are also really good.

I have not been able to find these at my local grocery store yet, however you can buy them online or check the store locater on Enlightened website.

Thank you so much to Enlightened for sending me these goodies to try! I really appreciate it and I absolutely love them. I wild highly recommend these products to anyone and will definitely be keeping my eyes out for the new flavors. I am also dying to try the ice cream bars.

Let me know if you have tried any Enlightened snacks and what your favored ice cream or crisp flavor is!

XOXO

Jacqueline
