Day 5 – Christmas Movie Workout
One of my Favorite things about Saturday’s is when I am able to sleep in a little bit after a long week and go get a workout in. There is nothing better than starting off your weekend with a great workout. It has been challenging for me because I haven’t been able to work out as I recover from my skin removal surgeries. Working out has become such a huge part of my life and not being able to feels, well…weird. I have been watching lots of Christmas movies lately and I thought what better way than to combine two of my favorite activities. This how the “How the GRINCH Stole Christmas” Holiday Workout was created. I decided to pick the Grinch because I have been watching it every night to help me fall asleep. It is such a Christmas classic and I thought it would be fun to play a game while watching. This is meant to be a fun way to get in a little extra activity, and make working out during this holiday season a little more exciting! Even if you can’t do all of the reps, just do what you can. I am not a trainer or a fitness expert and I don’t want anybody to get hurt while doing this. Exercise was never something I thought I could do or that I would ever love doing however after I stepped out of my comfort zone and just gave it a try…I soon became addicted. No matter where you are with your activity level don’t be afraid to give this little game a try and remember to have fun!
