Happy Black Friday shopping!!  I love shopping the Black Friday sales…but over the years I think I like shopping online better!  I used to love going out at midnight and being with all the other shoppers trying to score all the deals.  Maybe its because I am getting older…wiser lol but online shopping for Black Friday is the way to go for me now…or at least this year!  I did go out to a few stores today, just to walk around, get coffee and look at all the Christmas decorations that were out and see if I can spot anything worth picking up…needless to say I did find a few treats!     Since It is the day after Thanksgiving, it is time to pull out all of the plaid and all things festive!!  I love plaid shirts and flannel shirts.  I love wearing them with jeans, leggings and either tennis shoes or boots!  Such a simple yet classic outfit.   This top is one of my favorites and I got it last year and wear it all the time!! I am so excited that it is back this year and on sale right now!!    Also these jeans are super affordable since they are on sale now and a great brand! I find these jeans are a great fit for my legs!   I also got these boots a few years ago and they are great for me since my ankles and legs don’t always work with boots.  They keep bringing them back…

I don’t know about you but I love shopping!!!  But it is a very dangerous hobby to have especially when I was on my weight loss journey and I felt like I needed new clothes (and shoes) every few months because nothing fit anymore.   When I was losing weight, I rewarded myself along the way. When I hit a certain goal, or was able to complete a whole workout, or even if I just didn’t talk negatively about myself for a week.  My treats were always non food related…always! I had such an unhealthy relationship with food, which is a huge reason why I was over 5oo pounds to begin with, and I was not only on a journey to lose weight and love myself again, but change the relationship I had with food.     I would treat myself to a manicure, a new lipstick or a new shirt quite often.  Since I loved shopping, and I am not made of money, I loved sales and going to the outlets to find so many of my treats.  So when Black Friday came along, I used that as a way to not only buy gifts for my friends and family for Christmas, but I used this as a time to treat myself or stock up on some new items that I needed.   It was mostly new shoes, pants, jeans and some staples like basic shirts that I could wear with everything.  As I began losing weight my love for working out…

It is almost Thanksgiving and the weather here in Northern California is finally starting to cool off and feel like fall!  The sun is still shining but it is..colder!! And I love it!  There is so much to do to get ready for Thanksgiving.  There are groceries to buy, pies to bake, and for me, still squeezing in some gym time!  I think this is the perfect cozy outfit that is still super cute, but really comfortable so you can check everything off of your to do list. I love how soft this sweater is too.  I love this dark green color, but I am also in love with the grey color!  I have been living in jeans lately (which is weird for me since before I lost weight I hated jeans) and this pair from TopShop are my FAV lately!  I paired this outfit with this cute pair of heels to dress it up a bit, but I think sneakers would be totally cute as well.  I have linked everything down below for you guys, and like always have included similar plus sized items too. The holidays can be a very stressful time, so just make sure while you are out running around in 50 different directions to take time to breath.  Take some “you time” and allow yourself to be thankful for all of the blessings you have in your life.   Shop My Look Sweater (sweater that I am wearing) Sweater (very similar)  Plus Sweater  Jeans Plus Jeans Shoes…

I don’t know about you, but when the holidays come around, it is very hard for me to stay on track and remember my fitness goals.  I do not have much of a sweet tooth, but there is just something about the holidays that all of my teeth become sweet teeth and I want all of the cookies, pies and cakes.  While I was on my weight loss journey, I never allowed myself to have Thanksgiving food, and I definitely did not allow myself to have dessert.  But as I continued on my journey, I found that I  was still able enjoy Thanksgiving without depriving myself of everything, at the same time not eating EVERYTHING to a point where I would make myself sick.  I am sharing with you guys 3 simple and delicious recipes that are perfect for when you are craving something sweet, as well as perfect for a Thanksgiving treat!!  I really hope you guys enjoy these recipes as much as I do and let me know which one is your favorite!  Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Baking!!   Recipe #1 Low Calorie Crustless Pumpkin Pie Recipe Courtesy of Foodie Fiasco   INGREDIENTS • 1 (15 oz.) can pure pumpkin • ½ cup half + half or coconut milk • 2 egg whites (or 2 eggs’ worth of egg replacer) • ¾ cup erythritol or sugar • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice DIRECTIONS 1.
